Alleasing is pleased to continue its support of the University of Auckland’s entrepreneurship and innovator development program, Spark, in 2016.

The highly successful entrepreneurial development program and business planning competition challenges and encourages students and staff to explore ways of creating businesses based on ideas or innovations arising from their own research, or simply as a result of creative thinking.

Spark is helping to reshape attitudes and aspirations among academic staff and students throughout the University community in disciplines as diverse as engineering, medicine, the sciences, law and the arts.

Alleasing CEO Daniel Blizzard is delighted to again support the Spark program for what is anticipated to be its biggest year yet in 2016, following a successful partnership in 2015.

“Alleasing is an active supporter of the Spark competition and events series through sponsorship and judging. We are delighted to play a role in developing and nurturing a new breed of New Zealand’s innovators and entrepreneurs through this worthwhile program,” said Mr Blizzard.

“Spark is a highly successful program that aligns with our vision to give back to the community and Alleasing’s broader corporate values. It is an exceptional initiative, which inspires and nutures entrepreneurs across a diverse range of disciplines and fosters the spirit of innovation.”

Alleasing has worked alongside the University of Auckland since 1998, leasing a range of assets to faculties and business units, including science, arts, education, business and the library.
